RetroCrush, a streaming service, has added the television anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's autobiographical manga Hyakushō Kizoku (The Peasant Noble) under the title Hyakushō Kizoku – The Farmer's Days. The service also recently added or will add Urusei Yatsura (1981 series), Looking for the Full Moon, Tamala 2010: A Punk Cat in Space, RoboGeisha, Electric Dragon 80,000 V, Angel Cop (Original Japanese) (HD Re-release), Lone Wolf and Cub: The Movie, Lone Wolf and Cub: Assassin on the Road to Hell, and Lone Wolf and Cub (TV Series). The first season of the Hyakushō Kizoku anime premiered on Tokyo MX in July 2023, with each episode lasting four minutes. The third season debuted in October 2023, and a fourth season is currently in production. The manga follows Arakawa's experiences as a farmer in Hokkaido, which influenced her work on her Silver Spoon manga. The 5-Oku-Nen Button anime, based on a short story from the Minna no Tonio-chan manga series, debuted in July 2022 with 12 episodes. The story centers on a button that grants a million yen to whoever pushes it, with the condition that they must spend 500 million years alone in an empty space. Virtual YouTuber Koko performed the opening theme song, and virtual YouTuber RIM performed the ending theme song.
