MBS has announced an eight-episode live-action series adaptation of the manga How Do We Relationship? by Tamifull, set to premiere on September 10. The show's key visuals feature photography by Sara Masuda. The cast includes Riho Sayashi as Saeko Sawatari and Sakurako Konishi as Miwa Inuzuka. Tamifull herself provided an illustration to celebrate the announcement, expressing gratitude to her readers and the producers. Kana Yamada directs several episodes, while Sunhye Hong directs the remaining ones. Miki Matsugasako writes the scripts, and Tomohide Harada composes the music. Viz Media licensed the series, describing the story as follows: Shy Miwa, who dreams of love, finds it challenging in small-town Japan. Her classmate, Saeko, suggests they start dating, leading to a casual friendship that evolves into something more. The manga, which ended in March 2025, was published by Shogakukan and Viz Media. MBS' announcement marks an exciting development for fans of the manga, offering a new interpretation of the story and characters.
